What we're working on in Government as a Platform

As more and more services begin to adopt our Government as a Platform components, we’ve decided to post regular updates on our progress building them. This is a list of what we’ve done so far in 2017. We’ll iterate the format of these updates to make them as useful as we can.

GOV.UK Notify is now open for use

Back in May last year GOV.UK Notify sent its first messages as part of our invite-only beta release. Now - after 9 months, 3.5 million messages, 32 live services, 850 code deployments, and 500 hours of user research — we’re making Notify available to all of central government.
